Eclipse: 11 August 1999

I watched the eclipse from the hill/headland above the village of Torcross (SE Devon), which had a fine view of the English channel and of the causeway-like milelong beach.

It also had a fine view of all the clouds...

I hope to have some slides of the partial stages scanned in at some future date, but I do have some video footage (or low quality, but highly compressed) from my digital camera:
