My main work functions are a mixture of electronic design and Linux Admin.
There is an introduction to change ringing on Chuch Bells at MIT. I mainly ring at St. James' church in Hemmingford Grey part of the Huntingdon Branch of the Ely Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers. When I moved to St. Ives in August 2000 there was no regular band of ringers at St. Ives, so I joined the Hemmingford ringers. Times have changed, and there is now a new band of ringers learning at All Saints church in St. Ives.
Previously, I rang at St. Mary's, Aylesbury part of the Central Bucks Branch of the Oxford Diocesan Guild.

I have been using Linux (mainly RedHat) since 1996. Please see my software page for my small attempt at contributing something back to the open source and free software community.
I like listening to a wide range of music. Most of all, I like to be able to listen without having to search for the CD, or song, that I want to hear. To this end, all CDs are compressed into mp3 format. I play my music through the wonderful SliMP3 player.
I live in the Market town of St. Ives in Cambridgeshire.
